Forest Creek CDD Irrigation Leak, Update 7 Yellowstone began expanded excavation this past Monday, as planned to locate and repair the irrigation leak in the cottage area of Forest Creek Trail. Due to excessive ground water, it is now necessary to bring in an excavator to get to the necessary depth to repair the leak. This new challenge will extend the necessary time to leave the irrigation system down to at least Friday. Forest Creek Irrigation Leak, Update 6 Per the initial plan outlined in update 5, Yellowstone CDD Irrigation confirmed with Manatee County that the leak is not a potable water leak.  This Monday, May 6th, Yellowstone will begin excavating to locate and repair the leak. Drivers should exercise caution as there will be equipment on Forest Creek Trail in the cottages area. The irrigation system will continue to be on following the normal schedule the rest of this week and weekend.  The entire irrigation system will probably be off on Monday and Tuesday while Yellowstone does …

Forest Creek Irrigation System Repairs, Update #4

The HOA repair of the CDD Irrigation System leak in the cottages is being done by Bloomings, the HOA Landscaper.  To date, Bloomings has dug in the area of the leak but has been unable to locate the irrigation system main line where the leak is. Bloomings has contacted the vendor who installed the original system for Neal and they plan to be on-site sometime in the coming week to find the main line and make the repair. Currently the hole is filled in with a barrier around the area for everyone’s safety. Rather than …

The Red Rooster/Major Turner and Kingsfield Lakes/Forest Creek Trail gates have been repaired and are fully functionally as of April 24th. Please direct any questions to the Forest Creek Management Office.

Vehicle Entry Gate Repairs Update – April 22nd

The Red Rooster-Major Turner gate arm has been repaired, the right side gear box and left side gate bar were damaged. The Bar and arm have been replaced, but gear box will not be repaired until Tuesday, so the gates will be left open until Tuesday, barrier arms will be functional. The Kingsfield Lakes-Forest Creek Trail gate will be repaired Tuesday. The gate is functional but not closing in the right position.

Red Rooster Gate Damaged, April 17th.

The Red Rooster – Major Turner gate was damaged last night, April 17th. The bar is still attached but cracked and ready to fall off. Also,  the right side entrance gate is stuck open. The gate vendor has been notified for servicing. Please direct any questions to the Forest Creek Management Office.

Forest Creek Irrigation System Outage, Update #3

This is update #3 as of the morning of April 18th.  Bloomings, the HOA Landscaper has dug about 5 feet deep but has been unable locate the main line. Because of the depth and unstable soil, Bloomings will need to get in equipment to safely continue.  Therefore the plan is for Bloomings to refill the hole today, then the irrigation system will be turned back on later today. Early next week Bloomings will use equipment to dig the hole so it is safe to work, at that time the system will be turned off.  We will …

This is update #2 to the unplanned system wide outage.  As of the close of business, April 17th, Bloomings, the HOA landscaper has not corrected the main line leak in the cottages.  That is all the information available from Bloomings.  We will send updates, at least daily until the system has returned to operation. Irrigation System Wide Outage Continues into Wednesday April 17th

This is update #1 to the unplanned system wide outage, as of 4:45PM, April 16th, Bloomings, the HOA landscaper has not isolated the main line leak in the cottages and has requested the system remain off into Wednesday, April 17th.
