Forest Creek CDD Irrigation Leak, Update 7

Forest Creek CDD Irrigation Leak, Update 7

Yellowstone began expanded excavation this past Monday, as planned to locate and repair the irrigation leak in the cottage area of Forest Creek Trail. Due to excessive ground water, it is now necessary to bring in an excavator to get to the necessary depth to repair the leak. This new challenge will extend the necessary time to leave the irrigation system down to at least Friday. The good news is Yellowstone has located the electrical conduit that also runs through the excavated area and the rest of the excavation can be done by machine, and not by hand. All drivers and pedestrians should exercise extreme caution in that area of Forest Creek as there will be equipment on Forest Creek Trail in the cottages area. Ideally, when possible, please use one of the other three community entrances and exits.
The hole is marked off with a barrier and please refrain from getting too close as the soil is unstable in that area for everyone’s safety.
