End of Year Information and Reminders

Forest Creek Pond #3

Forest Creek Pond #3

Gate Call Box and FOB Re-Registration

If you have not updated your gate call box phone number and/or FOB information, please do ASAP.  The on-line form is on the CDD website. Unregistered Gate call box and FOB information will be purged early in 2020.  Remember, if you have changed the phone number the call box database has, the only way the district will know is if you contact the CDD.

Windshield Tags

When residents purchase new windshield tags, they are now being provided a handout on how to install and properly use the tags. The handout is available on the CDD website.  The CDD’s gate vendors will not trouble shoot issues when windshield tags are not properly mounted inside windshields.

New CDD Web Site Coming in 2020

Early in 2020, the new Forest Creek CDD website will go-live.  A new website was required for Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliance and was budgeted in the 2019-2020 budget.  The address of the new website will still be www.ForestCreekCDD.org so there is nothing residents need to do. The new site will contain all information required by Florida State law.

CDD Email Blog

Commensurate with the CDD’s new website in 2020, the CDD Email Blog will transition to MailChimp. The current CDD email database will be transferred to MailChimp so current subscribers will not need to do anything.  New subscribers will be able to signup via the CDD’s new website.

2020 CDD Board Meetings

The first CDD Board meeting in 2020 will be at 1 pm on January 7th at the CDD Club House.  CDD Board Meeting dates are posted on the website.

Wildlife Reminders

As a reminder, wildlife is present through the CDD.  Please do not feed nor disturb the wildlife.  Also, note there is at least one alligator in the main lake so exercise caution when canoeing or fishing from the banks. As spring approaches, birds will build nests in or near the many ponds within the district.  Per state law, aquatics maintenance will avoid active bird nests but since birds are good at hiding their nests, residents are asked to notify the district when they observe active nests so the aquatics vendor can be notified.
